Palm Drive Capital was founded by three Stanford classmates who deliberately moved from Silicon Valley to New York to avoid Bay Area bidding wars and focus on reasonably priced, under-the-radar software companies from Hong Kong to Hoboken. The firm tracks ~5,000 companies annually in a proprietary database to systematically anticipate funding rounds and operates with the philosophy of spending more time helping struggling portfolio companies than winners, treating failure as a learning tool rather than quietly writing off troubled investments.
