Adaptation Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in innovative startups developing solutions for the massive, yet overlooked, market of 1.85B people with disabilities and their supporters. Despite over 1,200 startups currently in the disability tech space, traditional venture capital has largely ignored the venture-scale opportunities due to misunderstanding the potential, and entrepreneurs with disabilities are 400x less likely to raise funding than their peers. The general partners have been on all sides of the table as exited founders, experienced global operators, early stage investors, and disability advocates with lived experiences (as a bilateral amputee and a brain aneurysm survivor, respectively).
